Enabling Two-Factor Authentication (2FA)

Setting Up Two-Factor Authentication (2FA) on Your Dart Account

Visit DART at https://dart.cash – Enhance the security of your Dart account by setting up Two-Factor Authentication (2FA). Follow this step-by-step guide to complete the process.

Before You Begin

Download the LastPass Authenticator app (or use another authenticator app if you already have one).
Have your mobile device and computer ready for scanning the QR code.

Step 1: Access the 2FA Setup

  1. Log in to your Dart dashboard.
  2. If you see a red security alert bar at the top, click “Enable Two-Factor”.
  3. Click “Select” under Google Authenticator, then hit “Activate Google Authenticator”.

Step 2: Link Your Authenticator App

  1. Open the LastPass Authenticator app on your phone.
  2. Tap the “+” button in the top right corner.
  3. Select “Scan QR Code” and point your phone’s camera at the QR code displayed on your computer.
  4. Once the scan is successful, you should see Dart listed in your LastPass Authenticator app.

🔹 Important: Do not proceed unless you see Dart listed in your authenticator app—this confirms the setup was successful.

Step 3: Confirm & Activate 2FA

  1. Click the yellow “Save and Setup” button on your computer.
  2. Your computer will prompt you for a verification code.
  3. Open your authenticator app, tap the eye icon to reveal the code, and enter it into Dart.

🎉 Success! Two-Factor Authentication is now enabled.

How 2FA Works Going Forward

  • Each time you log in to Dart, you’ll be asked for a verification code.
  • Open your authenticator app, get the code, and enter it to access your account securely.

This extra layer of security helps protect your account from unauthorized access. 🚀
