Setting Up Two-Factor Authentication (2FA) on Your Dart Account
Visit DART at https://dart.cash – Enhance the security of your Dart account by setting up Two-Factor Authentication (2FA). Follow this step-by-step guide to complete the process.
Before You Begin
✅ Download the LastPass Authenticator app (or use another authenticator app if you already have one).
✅ Have your mobile device and computer ready for scanning the QR code.
Step 1: Access the 2FA Setup
- Log in to your Dart dashboard.
- If you see a red security alert bar at the top, click “Enable Two-Factor”.
- Click “Select” under Google Authenticator, then hit “Activate Google Authenticator”.
Step 2: Link Your Authenticator App
- Open the LastPass Authenticator app on your phone.
- Tap the “+” button in the top right corner.
- Select “Scan QR Code” and point your phone’s camera at the QR code displayed on your computer.
- Once the scan is successful, you should see Dart listed in your LastPass Authenticator app.
🔹 Important: Do not proceed unless you see Dart listed in your authenticator app—this confirms the setup was successful.
Step 3: Confirm & Activate 2FA
- Click the yellow “Save and Setup” button on your computer.
- Your computer will prompt you for a verification code.
- Open your authenticator app, tap the eye icon to reveal the code, and enter it into Dart.
🎉 Success! Two-Factor Authentication is now enabled.
How 2FA Works Going Forward
- Each time you log in to Dart, you’ll be asked for a verification code.
- Open your authenticator app, get the code, and enter it to access your account securely.
